Greetings from Bill Voogd and the 5th Division. Summer and early autumn are over and with it the train show season
for our division. But the end of summer outdoor activities gives us a great opportunity to resume (or start) work on our home layouts or other model railroad projects.
We had recent train shows in Missoula and Spokane and both were great shows to attend. Lots of vendors’ tables and
some great deals to be had for those looking to add to their collections. And some nice layouts for the public to view.
The May 2025 Pasco convention now has our undivided attention and will for the next 6 months. The convention committee, chaired by Bill Fassett, is meeting on a monthly basis and will soon switch to twice a month. Excellent progress is
being made in almost all of the areas. We’re looking for clinics and clinicians. If you have any ideas or if you’d like to be involved, please contact Bill Fassett or myself.
