Greetings from Bill Voogd and the 5th Division. Spring has arrived and the lawnmower and snowblower have traded positions in my garage … a sure sign of the changing seasons. The March 8th Spokane show, hosted by River City Modelers, was well attended. It was great to have the new signage for the NMRA PNR 5th Division table. Numerous applications for membership were given out to interested parties. The new sign is a great aid in explaining the role of the NMRA and the advantages of membership. The annual 5th Division Meeting, and the Livingston and Helena train shows are all scheduled for the second half of April, but will be completed by the time this issue of The Switchlist goes to press. Congratulations to 5th Division member Gary Thurow, who was recently elected President of the Great Northern Railway Historical Society. That’s all for now.
